Our front A/C quit on Tuesday night. I called Instant Air at 7:am Wednesday to make an appointment. The girl said they would have someone there between 8:am and 10: am THAT DAY! The tech showed up at around 9:15 and my A/C was up and running before 10:am! He even checked out our other A/C while he was there and only charged us the original diagnostic fee! Highly recommend them!!

On July 9 our A/C blew in the main house. We had two different companies come out to give us quotes. I will not mention their names because I did not move out here to make enemies.

The first guy said that the whole system needed to be replaced, as the house was 20 years old. He wanted $15,000. After I balked at the price, he called his "boss" and got the price lowered to $11,000! Pretty hefty discount, huh?

The second guy said the same thing, but he only wanted $12,000.

Being patient and prudent, I called Instant Air, on the recommendation of our HOA. Mario came out on July 11. Within an hour, he had diagnosed the problem and told me that only a couple of parts needed to be replaced. The total cost, parts and labor, came out to less than $1100.

I couldn't believe the extent to what the first two guys were willing to go, to scam my 92-year-old parents. I have noticed that there is a lot of that here in Vegas. Shameful.

I highly recommend Instant Air, simply because of their honesty. Mario knew what the first two guys had quoted me, and he could have easily taken advantage. But he didn't. And my 20-year-old air conditioner is working like new.

The Las Vegas Valley area offers many competent AC Heating Service Contractors. Picking one is not an easy chore. Instant Air was recommended to us by a roofing company we trust. Instant Air offers more than just competent service. From the beginning to the completion of the installation of a new AC/Heating unit, Instant Air provided excellent service to us. We had numerous questions about pricing, quality of the product, efficiency, and future service/parts availability for the unit we needed. All that was answered before we made our selection. Even the owner, Oscar, did a follow-up call to ensure that we are comfortable with our selection. The job was done efficiently and the crew did a good clean-up following the installation. The unit installed is as energy efficient as Instant Air quoted. We saved around $30.00 in energy cost for the first month after the installation. I don't know if it is appropriate to use the term "personable" to describe a contractor's crew. To me, they are professional and personable.
